Trap Neuter Program

Las Vegas is the home of over 200,000 homeless cats who are lost or abandoned. Many are unfixed. The first step to animal rescue is trap-neuter-release (TNR). This program is available through our shelter The Animal Foundation and the low cost feral cat clinic at Heaven Can Wait Animal Society. The average cost to spay and neuter a community cat is $70. Funding is always needed to help sponsor TNR for our homeless cats.

Volunteer to Foster

Kittens and friendly adult cats are often seeking foster homes before a forever home is available. To find the right home for every cat it takes time. By having more foster homes you are helping the take these cats off the streets after trapping. Find a better solution than releasing them back outside after TNR is a collaborative effort with many local adoption centers.

Cat Food Donations

To date Live Laugh Cats have raised over 10,000 pounds of cat food. This food was donated and distributed to many colony feeders in Las Vegas. Feeders can feed anywhere from 10 cats a day to 200 cats a day for 365 days a year.

      Food for our cats is essential to a life long lived

There are over 31 million US households who are cat owners. It costs on average $150 per each veterinarian visit for non-emergency services. Medical bills can add up quickly. Preventative care is the key to saving money.

Food is medicine. The body can heal itself given the right conditions and environment. Cats are carnivores. The main ingredient in their daily food intake must include proteins. The first few ingredients in their kibble food bag must have proteins not grain, not corn, not oats. Brands such as Nulo and Triumph dry cat foods list protein as the first or second ingredient. It helps to read the labels on the cat food that you buy.
